Cities and travel
Poppywood is home, but the work doesn't stay there. There are six cities, each with places of its own and a map you open with the Map button.
Poppywood, USA
Home: the label, the studio, the arena, the clubs and everyone you know.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Palace hotels, superyachts in the marina and parties out in the dunes. Royals pay fortunes for a private show.
Tokyo, Japan
J-pop and K-pop collabs, fan meetings in Harajuku and arena dates at the Tokyo Dome.
Mykonos, Greece
Summer on the Aegean: beach parties at Paradise and DJ residencies on the cliffs at sunset.
London, United Kingdom
London Fashion Week in a courtyard off the Strand, sessions at Abbey Row Studios and tea at the Mayfair Grand.
Paris, France
Couture week under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, a suite on the Avenue Montaigne and Le Rivoli after the shows.
Poppywood's places
- Peach Records: the record label lobby, where everyone passes through and the Industry career is worked.
- Concert Arena: the main stage, the floor and backstage. Stage gigs.
- Starlight Studios: record singles and albums, shoot videos and push them up the charts. Studio gigs.
- Velour: the nightclub, with a VIP booth behind a velvet rope. Nightlife gigs.
- The Grand Hall: the red carpet, award nights, weddings and galas. Media gigs.
- The Backlot: the film and photo lot with a sound stage, a photo studio, a TV studio with a talk show set and a podcast studio. Acting and Modeling gigs.
- Serenade: a superyacht moored off the pier.
- Skylark: the private jet at Poppywood Airfield.
- Poppywood PD and the County Courthouse, where you'll end up if things go wrong.
Flying
Getting around a city is a normal ride. Getting to another city is a flight: tap a place in another city on the map and choose economy, first class or the Skylark chartered. Better seats cost more and leave you more rested when you land. Some offers come with the flight paid.
Hotels
Abroad, you stay in a hotel unless you own a home in that city. The hotel is charged by the day for as long as you're there, and you check out when you fly home. If you pass out or leave hospital abroad, you wake up in your hotel or your home in that city, not back in Poppywood.
Fashion Week
London and Paris each have a Fashion Week venue with a catwalk and front-row benches you can sit on. They're where the top of the Modeling career is worked: closing the show in Paris is one of the best-paid gigs in the game.
